Report: Frustrated Kevin Love screamed at Cavaliers GM Koby Altman in front of team
More eyebrows were raised in the second quarter when he became visibly frustrated as point guard Collin Sexton dribbled the ball at halfcourt for more than 10 seconds despite Love having a mismatch against Chris Paul. Kevin Love’s frustration with Cavs Saturday’s screaming was reportedly the latest development in Love’s growing frustration with the rebuilding Cavaliers since signing a four-year, $120 million extension with the team in 2018. He was reportedly fined $1,000 by the team for an incident on the bench on Dec. 31 against the Raptors, and disagreed with the fine.

Update, 6 p.m. ET: The NFL issued a statement following Adam Schefter’s earlier reporting, calling it “pure speculation” that the New England Patriots are facing punishment over a taping scandal. Original story: The New England Patriots are expected to be punished by the NFL for taping the Cincinnati Bengals’ sideline, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The league determined the Patriots committed a game-day violation and has been under investigation by the league after the Bengals’ security team confronted a cameraman working for Kraft Sports Productions who was taping Cincinnati’s sideline.
Kentucky loses Ashton Hagans to injury in Missouri win
Ashton Hagans suffered an injury that forced him out of No. 17 Kentucky’s win over Missouri on Saturday. With less than two minutes left in a 71-59 win, Hagans injured his right ankle taking an awkward step. Kentucky head coach John Calipari ruled that out, calling the injury a “low ankle sprain,” but he did say that Hagans’ status for Tuesday’s tilt with Georgia is in doubt.
