New Orleans Saints fans are going to spend another offseason mad at the NFL. Winston-led No. 14 Michigan State tops No. 12 Michigan 87-69
Cassius Winston made his last home game against Michigan memorable with a sensational performance his in-state rivals would rather forget. Eller also assisted Jakub Vrana’s second goal of the game with 47 seconds remaining as the NHL-leading Capitals became just the seventh team in league history to win after trailing by two inside the final minute.

That’s consistent with the standard that Riveron has used for most of the season. Although, techically, the flag should be thrown if there’s clear and obvious evidence of Rudolph pushing the defender to gain separation, Riveron has been relying on something more egregious before dropping a flag when no flag was thrown. Based on the manner in which Riveron was explaining the new procedure before the season began, Rudolph’s one-armed shove likely would have been enough to trigger a penalty via replay review.
